ActiveEOR® generates 500,000 BTU per bbl and increases local pore temperatures by >300°C, providing a potential viscosity decrease of >30%. Heat is generated down hole, minimizing losses in transit.
ActiveEOR® generates 10 mols of gas per bbl, creating a 10x volume expansion in the reservoir. The produced hydrogen can be reinjected, energy sourced, or flared.
The soluble silicates promote a water-wet environment to reduce IFT. Silicates are safe and widely used in detergent formulations and water softening.
